The Vermont Principals’ Association is the oldest education association in the state and plays a vital role in managing and guiding school sports and professional development for principals and teachers. The Association had lots and lots of valuable content that accumulated in an old WordPress site. The time had come to reorganize the content, redesign the interface, and the build something new with the WordPress Block Editor.
We started by visualizing all the key pages and content in a fabulous UX tool called Octopus. From there, Partisan produce a brand style guide with a refined color palette and typography, as well as designs of key landing pages and content, then piled 1s and 0s into a custom WordPress theme with content blocks designed to showcase the VPA’s many trainings and conferences. Partisan also consulted on digital best practices throughout the project, including hosting, domain name management, and third-party integrations. The result was a big improvement in user engagement. Staff members were also delighted to manage a site built for their specific needs.
